Chris Ash and Ronald Blair have been together for almost thirteen years. They decided to pursue adoption because they longed to have a family of their own. The way they found their children was like fate. The Ash-Blair Family’s four children, Eric, Joseph, Angel, and Reanna had been moved around many times in their short lives. Chris and Ron’s agency sent out a letter to all of its families, in the hopes that someone would be willing to adopt these amazing children. As new dads, Chris and Ronald initially expressed interest in adopting one child, but there was no mistaking that these four children were meant to be with them.
Joseph says, “When we first met our dad and papa they were crying happy tears because they liked us.” To celebrate the adoption, the family all went to Disneyland! The children were 4, 6, 8, and 10 years old at the time of placement. Eric, who is now 12, says, “Having a big family is the best. I have 2 dads. Having 2 dads or 2 moms doesn’t make a difference; they still love and care for you. I am lucky to have my family-especially my dads.”
