Betsy and Paul Franklin became therapeutic foster parents eight years ago, and have fostered 8 children over the years. Regardless of the challenges that present themselves, Betsy and Paul do not believe in giving up on children. They teach love, self confidence, and commitment as they love each child that comes to them as would their own child. Currently they are caring for four boys from different backgrounds. This can be a challenge at times, but they are resolved in their efforts to pull together as a family.
Oscar is a dynamic young man from Honduras. He is a gifted athlete, and with determination, hard work, and support, he continues to improve scholastically.
Timothy is a good-humored teen who has lived with the Franklins for over five years. He is an avid basketball competitor. Although he is not residing with his siblings, the Franklins support his strong relationship with them.
James is an intelligent young man, has been on the honor role 5 times. He one of the youngest, but has promoted himself as the big brother of the house.
Deonte is active in basketball and baseball, and is thriving under the nurturance and guidance of this loving family. Each of the boys has a quiet self confidence, they know that they are somebody and you can see it. The love Betsy and Paul have for each of them is invaluable and can never be quantified nor measured.
