Doug and Christy Ingebretson knew each other in high school, but fell in love after college, finding they had their life’s dreams in common. They both felt called to ministry full time, helping other people live the lives they were meant to live, with God at the center. Grace, their delightful daughter, was born in July 1999, however, they were unable to conceive other children. Over the past few years, God birthed a new dream in their hearts…the one of adoption. They couldn’t wait to add to their family. While completing their Foster Parent training, Christy and Doug experienced The Bay Area Heart Gallery exhibit in downtown San Francisco. The pictures of each child took their breath away, and confirmed their desire to add to their family through foster/adoption.
